Each technician is assigned an individually keyed drawer to store their ruggedized computer. The drawer has the capability to charge the laptop battery and connect the laptop to the WLAN through a data communication connection provided by a patented coiled Cat 6 wiring system with an Ethernet switch.

FUNCTIONS: 7 Drawer Unit:

• To easily secure 7 laptop computers, recharge batteries and download/upload data in a deployed environment.
• Exterior case meets MIL SPEC, 810F
• No installation necessary: connect to power supply and connect data line to switch. Cabinet is then ready to securely store 7 laptop computers with the capability to recharge and/or download data while the laptop is secured in the drawer
• Patented power supply system; power to each drawer with UL approved grounded outlet
• Patented coiled Cat 6 wiring system with RJ45 jack connections in each drawer
• An 8 port Ethernet switch is provided (SMC). Other switch options available, including Cisco
• Security enclosure protects Cat 6 wiring and Ethernet switch from unauthorized access
• Locking rear door allows easy access to internet components of cabinet
• Two fans provide positive air pressure to keep sand and dust out and provide ventilation
• Each drawer has an independent lock, all keyed differently, 2 master keys per cabinet
• An additional front security door provides the user with the option to secure all 7 drawers with one locking door, which also provides additional protection from sand and dust
• Drawers vented on all sides and bottom for greater heat dissipation
